Must Keep Knitting

What a great song by Matchbox Twenty. What a great band too. These guys are definitely my favorite, so I was super excited to go to their concert on Tuesday night. Mutemath opened the show. I hadn’t heard anything by them, but they were pretty good. Very energetic guys.

Alanis Morisette played next. I love her stuff; it’s great angry music. However, I didn’t really enjoy her in concert. I don’t really know how to pinpoint it, but I was just ready for her to get off stage.

I was thrilled when Matchbox Twenty came on. They opened with “How far we’ve come,” and one of the guitars quit working. The guitarist ran and got a new one, a string broke. The next one….out of tune. He threw it off stage at the techs (pretty funny). The guys were really chill throughout the whole show and Rob Thomas was awesome (I love him).

Oh! I think I walked by a famous person on the way to the bathroom. I was really close to the VIP section. This guy wearing an expensive black suit and a hat came out from behind a curtain, looked me in the eye, and then walked into another room. A few guys that appeared on stage (Alanis Morisette’s guitarist and a guitarist in Matchbox twenty) were dressed the same way, so I assume the guy near the bathroom was someone important.

No knitting news today, expect that I found my missing size 1 needle! I really needed it, so I’m super thrilled. Sorry, no pictures either (I need to get on this picture thing!).

I found him at the Local Bead Store.  I have a surprise in mind for you!

I have some knitting updates!  I’ve finally stopped being selfish and lazy and began working on Christmas presents again…  I’m almost done with my mom’s pair!  I started a pair of the Picot Posey mittens fom knitscene for myself, too.
