Here it is.

So, this is a day late because the internet is out on my side of campus.  I guess I shouldn’t promise things because you never know when the internet is going to mess up.  Anyways, on with the knitting news.

11254.jpg11255.jpgI’ve finished a hat, the Simply Ginny Socks, Argosy, and the scarf for my mom.  I plan on putting the pattern for the scarf on etsy soon, so I will save the picture for then!

So, here’s an updated WIP list:

  • Stag Bag (a little further down the back now)
  • Mantilla Doily (haven’t touched it)
  • 5 Easy Cables (still only 1 skein used)
  • Don’t put them in the dryer socks from Never Knit your Man a Sweater* (almost done with the first one)
  • Classic Wool Socks (1 done)

11253.jpgI still have many presents to go to.  My dad and brother’s presents are WIPs, while my mom’s, sisters, future BIL, boyfriends, and bffs are still not even close to being started.  How many more days until Christmas are there??

On Friday, my family and I went to get a Christmas tree at the Alpaca farm.  Aren’t they cute? The brown one is definitely my favorite.  He had such big eyes, they were 11251.jpgadorable.  I plan on owning a few when I have a house.

One last thing, I’m on Ravelry now!  I’m mustkeepknitting there, too.

Happy Knitting,

 Kate

Tomorrow.  I promise that tomorrow I will have a new blog entry.  It will even have pictures.  How exciting this will be!

Sorry for all the slacking off. (I’ve really just been busy….and had no knitting pictures).

Happy Knitting,

Too much.

I’m out of control.  I’m a yarn addict and I probably need to go into rehab.

That being said, I have too many things to make.  Here is my growing list of things OTNs right now.

I made a trip to the yarn store yesterday and bought Never knit your man a sweater* (*Unless you have the ring) and Interweave Knits Holiday Gifts 2007.  I’ll have to get the Interweave Knits Winter 2007 issue when it comes out.  The Celtic Tote looks so cute.1141.jpg

As I mentioned in the last post, Christmas is coming up, which means more knitting (I don’t think I could do more knitting unless I sleep less…it pretty much has consumed my life right now).  So, on top of the projects I already have OTNs, I will be adding a present for my dad, mom, sister, brother, sister’s fiance, and my boyfriend.  I will possibly be knitting something for my bff if I have time…but no one else.  To escape from all of this knitting mania, I’ve been feeding the ducks.  I believe they are extremely hungry because of how close they get to me.

1144.jpgBut now, I have a new love aside from knitting.  Spinning!!  I attended SAFF last weekend with my mom and grandma.  My grandma bought me a spindle as an early birthday present and I bought some roving (which I have dubbed “meat”).  I’m getting a lot better at it and intend on selling some once my website is finally finished.

Speaking of the website, I’ve updated it a bit.  There’s a bit more I need to do, like add some pictures.  I also have to rewrite the company history because I hit some random key that erased it.  I quit for the night after that.  Hopefully after Christmas I will have more time to perfect it for you.

1143.jpgSome other non-knitting projects include a damask painting (a picture will be up once it’s finished) and a new bulletin board for my floor.

Happy Knitting and I hope you stay sane this Holiday Season,

Kate
